What the treatment involves
Skin Revitalization 3-in-1 GeneO® combines three actions in a single treatment: exfoliation, oxygenation of the skin from within, and delivery of active ingredients. The oxygenation effect is created by a chemical reaction of the gel with a capsule that produces carbon dioxide — the body responds with an increased inflow of oxygenated blood to the skin.
The treatment improves the skin's hydration, tone and radiance, requires no downtime and is sometimes called a red-carpet treatment because the effect is visible immediately. It is suitable for various skin types and can be performed on the face, neck and décolletage.
Indications
We recommend the treatment when you want to refresh and moisturize the skin. The most common indications are:
- dull, dehydrated skin lacking radiance
- first signs of aging and loss of firmness
- uneven skin tone and minor hyperpigmentation
- enlarged pores
- the need for a quick skin refresh before an important event
How the treatment works
We cleanse the skin and then spread a dedicated gel with a special applicator head, using circular movements.
During the treatment you may feel a slight tingling or bubbles on the skin — this is the effect of carbon dioxide being released. Active ingredients selected for the skin's needs are then introduced. The treatment lasts 30–45 minutes; to consolidate the effect we recommend a series of 4–5 treatments every 2–4 weeks.
Results
The effect is visible immediately after the treatment — the skin is better moisturized, radiant and smoothed, and its tone more even.
A series of treatments improves skin firmness and condition and reduces minor imperfections. The results usually last up to about 3 months and can be maintained with further sessions.
Aftercare
The treatment requires no downtime. Even so, it is worth:
- using SPF cream and avoiding intense sun for a few days
- moisturizing the skin appropriately
- skipping the sauna and intense exertion for 1–2 days
- not worrying about temporary, quickly fading redness
Contraindications
We do not perform it, among others, in cases of:
- pregnancy and breastfeeding
- cancer or suspicion of it
- active skin lesions (eczema, rash, acne, herpes, psoriasis) in the treatment area
- uncontrolled diabetes
- disorders of the nervous and circulatory systems
- allergy to retinol or citric acid
The final qualification is carried out by the cosmetologist during the consultation.
