What the treatment involves

Complete – redness reduction is a MEDESTETIS signature therapy for skin that has a weakened hydrolipidic barrier, pigmentation and redness at the same time. The goal is to rebuild the barrier, reduce pigmentation and redness, and even out the complexion.

The programme works on several levels — it combines controlled chemical exfoliation with light technology. This lets us work on tone, vessels and skin resilience at once, instead of treating each of these problems separately.

The therapy consists of five treatments: three with a toning peel and two with narrow-band light therapy, each closed with a twenty-minute LED phototherapy session. Recovery periods are planned between treatments, so skin functions normalise gradually and the risk of irritation stays low.

At the Dr Kuschill MEDESTETIS clinics in Kraków and Warsaw, the therapy is preceded by a consultation and qualification by a cosmetologist.

Indications

We consider Complete therapy primarily for:

  • a compromised hydrolipidic skin barrier
  • pigmentation and uneven skin tone
  • redness and vascular skin
  • sensitive and reactive skin

How the treatment works

The therapy is preceded by a consultation, during which the cosmetologist assesses the condition of the hydrolipidic barrier and the severity of pigmentation and redness, and then sets the plan.

The toning peel is a gentle, controlled exfoliation. It brightens pigmentation and evens out skin tone, prepares the skin for light therapy, and supports regeneration and rebuilding of the hydrolipidic barrier.

Narrow-band light acts selectively on pigmented and vascular changes. It reduces redness and the visibility of broken capillaries, improves the uniformity of skin tone and stimulates the skin's repair processes.

The therapy plan covers five treatments. The first and second are the toning peel with a twenty-minute LED phototherapy session, each followed by at least 15 days of recovery. The third is narrow-band light therapy with an LED session and at least 30 days of recovery. The fourth is the toning peel again with an LED session and 15 days of recovery. The fifth, closing the series, is narrow-band light therapy with an LED session.

This sequence allows skin functions to normalise gradually and limits the risk of irritation.

Results

Complete therapy leads to:

  • brightening of pigmentation
  • reduction of redness and vascular changes
  • a more uniform complexion
  • a stronger hydrolipidic barrier
  • improved comfort and resilience of the skin

Effects build up over the course of the series and are individual — they depend on the initial condition of the skin, the causes of pigmentation and redness, and on daily skincare.

Aftercare

During Complete therapy the skin requires gentle care and consistent protection. Remember to:

  • use the soothing cream recommended for the whole therapy — it supports rebuilding of the hydrolipidic barrier, soothes and reduces inflammation, lowers skin reactivity and consolidates the results of the treatments
  • apply a high SPF 30–50+ cream every day, also in autumn and winter
  • avoid factors that intensify redness: hot baths, saunas, spicy food and alcohol
  • care for your skin only with gentle products recommended by your specialist
  • avoid mechanical exfoliation and vigorous rubbing of the skin
  • limit intense physical exercise for a few days

If irritation becomes severe or unusual symptoms appear, contact the MEDESTETIS clinic.
