Buttock shaping and augmentation

Buttock shaping and augmentation is a minimally invasive alternative to surgery that allows you to improve the shape, volume and firmness of the buttocks without a scalpel. At the clinic we offer two methods: augmentation with hyaluronic acid and biostimulation with poly-L-lactic acid.

We match the method to your expectations and body build. The treatments are performed by a physician under local anesthesia, using precise microcannulas with rounded tips, which limits pain and the risk of bruising. This is an aesthetic procedure, not a method of treating excess weight.

We recommend the treatment when you want to improve the appearance of your buttocks in a minimally invasive way. The most common indications are:

• insufficient volume or flattening of the buttocks
• asymmetry or an uneven shape
• lax skin and loss of firmness
• the wish to define the contour without surgery
• volume loss after weight reduction

During the consultation, the physician assesses the anatomy of the area, discusses your expectations and selects the method and the amount of product.

After local anesthesia, the product (hyaluronic acid or poly-L-lactic acid) is delivered with microcannulas into the appropriate layers. Hyaluronic acid gives an immediate effect, while poly-L-lactic acid gives a gradual one, built by the body over the following weeks.

With hyaluronic acid the effect is visible immediately and usually lasts from 6 to 12 months. Poly-L-lactic acid stimulates the production of your own collagen — the full result appears after about 3 months and lasts 12 to 24 months (sometimes longer).

The recommendations depend on the method. In general, remember to:

• avoid sitting for long periods and putting pressure on the buttocks for a few days
• give up intense exercise, the sauna and the swimming pool for 1–2 weeks
• not massage the area unless your physician recommends it
• expect temporary swelling (for up to approx. 2 days) and possible bruising that subsides within 2 weeks

In addition, the general rules after filler injections apply. We assess the final effect after approximately 2 weeks, once the swelling has subsided; in case of intense pain, redness or fever, contact the clinic immediately:

• for at least 2 weeks, drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water a day
• until fully healed, do not use the swimming pool or the sauna
• do not tan the treated area and protect it from overheating

We do not perform it in cases such as:

• pregnancy and breastfeeding
• autoimmune diseases
• active inflammation and skin infections (for example cold sores, acne) in the treatment area
• a tendency to keloids and hypertrophic scars
• allergy to the product being administered
• clotting disorders
