When should you think about skin rejuvenation?
When we notice a decrease in skin elasticity – when our skin loses its glow and even color. Treatments to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin also help to overcome small imperfections and shallow wrinkles.
What could be the reason?
First of all, the ongoing aging process of the skin, which consists of many changes – including hypertrophy of the stratum corneum (drying), reduction of fibroblast activity (loss of elasticity), uneven melanin secretion (discoloration). What’s more, external factors, such as UV radiation, stress, air pollution, preservatives, and care errors – the use of unsuitable cosmetics – have a significant and negative influence on aging.
Goals of skin rejuvenation therapy
The skin revitalization process may relate to different therapeutic goals depending on the individual needs of the patient. Most often, treatment therapy applies to the following levels:
- Skin nutrition from the inside through the use of cocktails containing amino acids, vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants, growth factors.
- Improve skin density by activating the production of collagen type III.
- Stimulation of fibroblasts (skin cells) for the production and regeneration of collagen fibers.
- Reconstruction of new collagen, improvement of skin quality and firming of facial and body flaccidity.
- Stem cell stimulation.
