The effects of the treatment

The Dye-VL® treatment is a non-invasive way to eliminate vascular changes and skin discoloration. It involves the thermal, controlled damage of cells in which melanin or hemoglobin has accumulated, which results in the reduction of visible lesions. The main indications for the use of therapy are erythema, rosacea, dilated capillaries and discoloration. This innovative technology is excellent in the field of shallow-vascularized skin prophylaxis, which is prone to pigmentation changes and is very sensitive to various factors.

What does the treatment look like?

The treatment is practically painless, therefore, in most cases, no anesthesia is performed, but it is possible to use anesthetic cream on the patient’s special request. All indications for treatment performance are checked by a specialist doctor at the check-up visit. During therapy, thanks to one of the most advanced technologies using narrowband pulsating light, thermal cells are damaged in which the dye has accumulated. Using a series of three filters, concentrating light in a narrower range, Dye-Vl® technology provides the possibility of treating patients with vascular lesions. It is worth mentioning the use of light emission from 500 to 600 nm. Such a beam of light is the safest for the skin, so there is no risk of tissue damage, and in addition the best possible effects of the treatment are obtained in a very short time.

Duration of treatment

The treatment lasts from 30 to 60 minutes.

The period of convalescence

There may be slight redness or swelling shortly after the treatment. The skin gives the impression of being very stretched, but usually it does not result in the patient being excluded from normal daily activities. After the treatment sunbathing is inadvisable, and the skin is recommended to be cared for with preparations recommended by a doctor. The healing process lasts for several weeks, and after its completion, depending on the doctor’s recommendations, the therapy should be repeated.

The duration of the effects

Permanent effects can be obtained by following the doctor’s instructions by performing a series of treatments.
