What the treatment involves
Infrared thermolifting uses near-infrared radiation with a wavelength in the 750–1800 nm range. The light energy is converted into heat within the skin, warming the deeper layers of the dermis evenly and gradually — to about 65°C — while the surface is continuously protected by cooling.
This controlled heating causes existing collagen fibers to contract immediately and stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin. The skin becomes denser and tighter, gaining firmness and elasticity.
Indications
We recommend this treatment primarily for:
- loss of firmness in the skin of the face, neck and décolleté
- sagging cheeks and a softening facial contour
- loss of elasticity in the skin of the body
- wrinkles
- anti-aging prevention (from as early as 25–35 years of age)
How the treatment works
The treatment requires no anesthesia — it is painless, and all you feel is intense, pleasant warmth. The skin is protected by surface cooling throughout.
We move the handpiece across the treated area, delivering infrared energy deep into the skin. The treatment takes 30–60 minutes, depending on the area.
Results
The tightening and firming effect is visible immediately after the treatment, thanks to the instant contraction of collagen.
The full lifting effect develops over 3 to 6 months as new collagen is produced, and can last for up to 3 years.
Aftercare
The treatment requires no recovery time and no cooling once it is finished. Superficial redness may appear and subsides after about 4 hours. Remember to:
- use sun protection and take care of your skin's condition
- moisturize your skin regularly, which prolongs the effect
- follow your cosmetologist's individual recommendations
In addition, the general rules following treatments with high-energy devices apply. The tightening effect builds gradually, usually over 4–12 weeks; if your skin reacts in an unusual way, contact the clinic:
- if redness or swelling appears, cool compresses will bring relief
- for the first few days, do not massage the heated area unless your cosmetologist advises it
- on the day of the treatment, skip makeup and protect your skin from overheating as well as from frost and wind
- because of the risk of discoloration, keep using SPF 50+ sun protection for up to 6 months
Contraindications
We do not perform this treatment in cases such as:
- pregnancy and breastfeeding
- open wounds and viral or bacterial skin conditions
- cancer and autoimmune diseases
- diabetes
- taking anticoagulants, and implants in the treatment area
- within 2 weeks after fillers and botox
Final qualification is carried out by the cosmetologist during the consultation.
